How Hair Laser Removal Works
Hair laser removal is a permanent hair reduction that reduces the need of regular shaving.
Traditional hair removal methods such as shaving, waxing or tweezing can be time-consuming and can irritate the skin.
This treatment removes unwanted hair easily and effectively.
The Procedure
The laser absorbs the colour pigment in the hair while it is actively growing. The heat damages the follicle so that it cannot regrow. We always ask that you trim or ideally shave the area that is being treated the evening before the treatment takes place. The hair will naturally fall out one to three weeks later.
Only 40% of the hair may be actively growing at any one time which is why we advise a series of treatments. We recommend an initial course of at least six treatments at a four to six weekly interval; however, this can vary according to the area.
